Band News (week of 9/10-9/16)

Hey Falcons! Please see below from Mr. Bond's email for the week of Monday (9/10) through Sunday (9/16)...

Good Afternoon,

It was great to see so many people at the game last Saturday! Our band did an awesome job and it was exciting to see the football team get the win! Hopefully we’ll see a lot of you tonight as well as we take on Klein Cain.

Mum sales for band students will begin next Monday outside of the band hall before and after rehearsals. Sales for all other OTHS students will begin on Thursday, September 13. Please encourage everyone you know to buy mums from our mum factory. The quality of the product is second to none and all profits benefit the band.

Mum Factory

The Falcon Mum Factory is in need of MANY volunteers to help cut, staple, fold, assemble and more! YOU CAN DO THIS even if you aren’t creative — everyone can use a pair of scissors and cut a straight line! The Annual Homecoming Mum Sale is the band’s largest fundraiser and we rely on our wonderful volunteers to help make it happen.

Progress reports came out today so everyone should have a good idea of where they stand in their classes. Please be sure you are taking care of business! Also, remember that band students have until Friday, September 14 to take care of all objective grades. If something shows up as a zero in the gradebook, it means it hasn’t been taken care of yet but there is still time for full credit.

Mattress Fundraiser

The mattress fundraiser will take place next Sunday, September 16 from 10 am – 5 pm in the OTHS freshman commons. Please encourage anyone you know to come out that day and purchase a mattress from us!

Have a great weekend!
